Google suggests that both Mom & Dad and Daniel & Christie take US 129 and US 441 south from Knoxville, then follow TN 360 to the farm. Leslie & Dave have their choice of backroads to come north through the mountains.

For our rafting trip on Saturday, we'll take Belltown Road to Ballplay Road west into Madisonville, then follow US 411 south to Benton. Once in Benton, we'll turn left onto Welcome Valley Road (across from the IGA), then go two more miles to the outpost.

  • Cons: Location
  • Price: $150/night, $75 cleaning fee, $50 pet fee

This house is near Etowah, between Cleveland and Sweetwater. It has four bedrooms and is on the Hiawassee River.

  • Cons: The porch isn't screened and might be buggy near the river
